Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things.
What are you thinking about today? Are you worried and stressed about all that needs attention? Lack of income? How about using this same amount of time to renew your mind? Think about all the great things in life: The funny thing that happened the other day, the great picture your child gave to you - write them down. As a believer, we need to be spending more time thinking about the positives. In fact, we are to meditate on them. The dictionary defines meditate as: to think deeply; or focus on something for a period of time for spiritual purposes, or to relax. Spend time today focusing on the good things. From the littlest to the biggest. Your spirit will be refreshed and you will be relaxed. What a way to start your day. This will bring about the right attitude and will help you face your day with victory. Don’t leave your house feeling the weight of your burdens - instead, open the door as you leave your home with a smile on your face!
Lord, I am smiling because:
Father, thank you for all the great things in my life. Lord, you take care of the smallest details of my life and I am so thankful for that. Help me to smile more and worry less. You have never failed me and you never will. May I live what I believe. In Jesus name, Amen

A friend just yesterday said to help with my insomnia to try meditating before bed thinking thoughts like you've suggested. My sister-in-law starts every day in meditation and thankfulness. She makes every day a good day and encourages everyone to do the same. Very nice! Make it a good one Teresa.Good morning Brianna. Your friend is right. There is a peace that comes when we focus on our blessings and knowing that though things in life and people will fail us, God never fails us. Make it a God day :-) Hugs! T
Yes, and we are to meditate on what the Word says is true and not what the enemy is trying to overwhelm us with all the time! Great piece T!So true MJ. The enemy would have us remember what we should forget and forget what we should remember! Hugs and blessings to you! T
