Gotta Love "Warp It"

Of all the wonderful ideas that the Administrative Warpies have come up with, Warp It has to be the greatest! I think Mrs. Warpie (Jean Horst) might agree with me. After all, it does take some of the pressure off in picking what goes on the front page - not that anyone has ever accused her of being bias.
One of my favorite things is seeing the variety of articles that show up in any given day. Every time I see a new piece in the "Warped Pick" spot, I smile and feel a sense of pride for my fellow writer and I think - Right On! Better yet, Write On! Not only that, I believe it can be a great source of encouragement to each of us. And maybe it's just me, but I can't help but feel proud when I see one of my articles in that spot. Come on - you would be too, don't judge me. (Grin)
What I appreciate most, is that this isn't restricted to new submissions, but to older ones as well. As I read through some of the older material by various writers, I find that I love it and I hit that "Warp It" button. Lately, I have noticed quite a few of older articles, many by writers I have not had the opportunity to read before, and it is wonderful getting to know new writers and make new friends. With thousands of writers on the Warp, it is nearly impossible to meet every one, but this is a great place to start.
Do you have your favorite writers? Take a few moments and read through some of their archived articles, warp one or two or three - let's use this feature to its max!

I agree with all that you said here Teresa.I have read some articles recently that were dated over a year ago, and rated them a five. I forget about the Warpit function, and this article will help to make me more aware to do use it in the future.I think many deserving writers will benefit in the future because of this article. Good job!Hi Kenny, thanks! I agree with you. It it so nice to be able to bring some oldies but goodies back to the front page.
Teresa,I have been missing the last month and thus had to read your article, ponder what you were talking about, do a little research, and then read it again to get the point. Yes, it's a good idea because you are right, there are many great older articles that I pick up on usually from the right column. Thanks for sharing.Hi Nancy! I have been away for a way too. With my new job, I don't have as much time as I used to, but I am adjusting and hopefully will be able to come around at least twice a week. Many blessings to you! t

Gosh I feel like I am out in the boondocks. Now I have to learn about this function. I feel like I missed so much when I was away for almost 4 months only being able to check in once in a while. Thanks for sharing Teresa.Linda DHi Linda, I agree, the warp is always on the move, we have to stay plugged in or we get lost. I'm glad we are both back. For me, its just not as much as before, but a little is better than nothing :-) God bless you abundantly!
