Two years ago, I went through a rough time with my skin. I was constantly breaking out with a severe case of heat rash. Six months later and several medications, lotions, and soaps, it was determined that I had dermatitis.
Dermatitis comes in different degrees ranging from chronically dry skin, to severe and painful red blotches and or rashes. This is caused by allergic reactions to animal dander, perfumed body wash, lotions, and shampoos.
I have tried countless facial cleansers to no avail. Each product worked great– No rash, skin was smooth, blemishes went away, then at the end of one week, my face would break out, and my rash would return.
Aveeno Active Naturals – has a product I discovered almost two-months ago, while on the search for another cleanser – Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser.
It is a mild blemish treatment cleanser free of perfumes and harsh chemicals.
I am happy to say, I have finally found a facial cleanser that lives up to its name and claim. My skin is free of blemishes, it is smooth and moist, and it does not irritate my dermatitis in any way.
My husband, children, and a few coworkers have complimented me on how good my skin has looked lately, and they did not even know I switched cleansers.
For those of you who have sensitive skin, I know you can appreciate the happiness I feel – no more red blotches and rashes for this face. If you are still on the search for a great product, I encourage you to try Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser. While you're at it, the Skin Relief Moisturizing Cream works great in relieving itchy skin caused by dry, chapped skin.
** If you are dealing with chronically dry skin and breaking out in unexplained rashes, visit a dermatologist. Over the counter medications can mask the possibility of a skin condition that will only get worse if improperly treated, causing unnecessary pain -- at least this is what happened to me.**
But then again, this is just one girl's experience.

More commentshi t,would you mind explaining this missy:free of perfumes and hash chemicals :)i'm glad you have found relief. you must be really happy, and that makes me happy.my best, sueHa! Well, you see, "hash" chemicals are the kind that make you think you have red blotches all over your face and give you the illusion of spiders crawling all over your body - hense, the itching. :-)Thanks for pointing my little oops out, I will fix it right now :-)I hope you have a wonderful evening - be good and stay away from those "hash" chemicals :-) Hugs, t

Interesting article, Teresa. I myself have to avoid anything with dye in it or my skin breaks out in rashes and sores. Allergies can be a real pain--especially if you aren't sure what you are allegic to. I can't eat artificial crabmeat and I love it--because of the red dye coloring on it. If I get cold, I break out in huge and painful hives--I'm not sure what causes that. Thanks for the informative read.SandraHi Sandra, thank you for the comment. It sure is a pain. It is a bummer when we are allergic to something we really like. My son loves the crab stuff too and would be bummed if he couldn't eat it.Sorry you can't eat it. Have a blessed day! Teresa

This sounds like an article that could have been an ad - more personal story without the ad would have achieved a lot moreHi Marion, nice to meet you. Thank you for taking a moment to read and comment. In a sense, this is supposed to be like an add because I wrote it as a product review to encourage others to give it a try if they have the same issues I do.I do appreciate your input and agree that personal testimonies are advertisement enough. (Just not sure how to do one without sounding like an add) I will keep this in mind when I write another product review. I am always looking for ways to improve. Thanks again and God bless you. :-) Teresa
