Another sad chapter in the life of John Graziano was made public when his father, Edward, was arrested for the attempted murder of his wife, Debra Graziano.
In December of 2008, the Palm Harbor sheriff's office received a tip that Edward was trying to hire a hit man. Acting on this tip, they set up several meetings between an undercover detective posing as the "middleman" and Edward. Over time, Edward made it clear he wanted her death to appear as if it was the result of a tragic auto accident. He provided details of his wife's daily schedule so that the hit man would have options on his timing.
Apparently, this is not Edward's first run-in with the law. John and Debra both filed domestic violence injunctions back in 2004. Debra reported that her husband threatened to cut her throat if she tried to get alimony in their pending divorce. John said his father charged--and hit him, then tried to break through his bedroom door. Later, in 2007, Edward was arrested for fighting with family members at the hospital when John was being treated for his injuries due to the auto accident involving Nick "Hogan" Bollea.
This 2 ½-month investigation ended on February 26, 2009 at 11:30am when Edward was placed under arrest in his Palm Harbor home. Apparently, he made good on this threat when he reportedly paid the undercover detective, $1,100 in cash, a personal check for $1,000, and a gift card from a pizzeria for $13.06. All this, investigators say, to settle some divorce related issues.

I am truly grateful for the one who called the police department, and for their follow-up. It is a shame this man could get to a place in his life that he would conjure up such an evil plan to take the life of his son's mother. I hope and pray that Graziano will come to his senses and repent. Thank God John still has his mother here with him. I am praying for their lives to come to a place of peace and safety. Please shower them with grace and restore their soul, Lord Jesus!

Unfortunately, this happens fairly often, it's only made visible when a high profile person is involved.Praying hearts would turn from the love of money and put that kind of passion into loving others.Blessings to you!
