A Tribute to Michelle Mackin: My Friend Michelle
I received an email this morning for an unrelated issue; however, the last line in this forwarded email caught my eye - "did you know Mark's wife died last night..." I made my way over to WryteStuff.com, only to see the words for my self: "My wife, Michelle Mackin, died Christmas Eve in her sleep." There are no words to express how I feel at this moment. I only know that I... (posted by Teresa 143 days 6 hours ago.)

Taking a Break to Catch My Breath
Two weeks ago, we had a freak windstorm here in good O' sunny Southern California. I was forced to zigzag my way to work through side streets, and the famous Colorado Blvd, home of the Rose Parade. It was then I was reminded of just how quickly time fly's. For a second I was thrown off when I saw the city workers setting up the stands, and the sound booths that would soon be filled with... Where Fiction Meets Reality: A Review of The Golden Thread by Catherine J. Craig
Author Catherine J. Craig brilliantly weaves fiction into the truths revealed in the Holy Bible. She leads her readers on a journey through history and brings to life the characters many students of the Bible take for granted without giving a lot of thought to who they might have been as people. What were their likes and dislikes? How did they... (posted by Teresa 188 days 19 hours ago.)

From SearchWarp to Wryte Stuff: It's All Good
So many thoughts, so little space Of one thing I'm sure - this is the place. It's true I know, a poet I am not Though many other lessons this site did wrought. Whew! Trying to summarize my feelings as so many amazing poets do is tougher than I thought. I suppose I will stick with what works best - being me. For better or for worse. This my friends, is what I love most... (posted by Teresa 220 days 22 hours ago.)

If I could Live Anywhere in the World, I would Live in Oregon
This is a no-brainer. Pure and Simple - I would live in Oregon. Many of you came along for the difficult journey between Oregon and California. For those of you who missed out, I will bring you up to speed. Three years ago, my husband had to leave our home in Oregon and live out of a suitcase for one-year while working in California. It was not fun being apart... (posted by Teresa 246 days 20 hours ago.)

That Same Old Feeling
It happened yesterday, the instant sinking feeling followed by a rush of adrenaline. It has been a long time since this feeling arose from the pit of my stomach, and frankly, it would have been just fine if I had never felt it again. But there it was, that same old feeling that something wasn't right. A flash from my past, the quick duck before being seen by him, clouded my vision as I pulled into the...
